The Sillwood is a sophisticated corner sofa of exacting proportion designed for rume by Richard. P. Baker. The Sillwood is made-to-order to fit any required dimension and layout and rume is able to produce detailed 3d drawings of any proposed corner sofa so that the client can see exactly what it will look like before purchase. The Sillwood can be made in two or three lockable sections with a chaise end, detachable stool or a second arm. It can have blind or piped cushions and an under-frame of a timber and stain colour of your choice. As with all rume sofas it is handmade by our skilled staff in our Sussex workshops, drawing on classic English furniture making traditions and techniques and combining long established practices with proven modern materials. As shown it has a solid beech and plywood frame in two locking sections, a cross webbed platform, quilted duck feather-over-reflex foam seat cushions, duck feather and fibre back cushions and an oak under-frame with low sheen lacquer. It can be made in components if access is difficult. Your choice of fabric or leather.
