The Lansdowne by Terence Woodgate is a fabulous contemporary version of the classic English Chesterfield re-imagined as a corner system. It is handmade to order in Norfolk where the skilled staff draw upon timeless English furniture making techniques and combine long established practices with proven modern materials. This flexible approach allows you to individually specify the dimension and the fabric. The layout is also very versatile as the Lansdowne comes in various shapes and sizes that can be placed together to make up almost any corner configuration. As shown with a three seat sofa with two arms and a two seat chaise with one arm the Lansdowne has a solid beech frame, sewn pleats, buttoned back and arms, cross webbed platform with multi-density foam seat and removable brushed stainless steel legs.
