The Welbeck is a wide armed, low profile sofa with hidden feet and a delightfully calming influence designed for rume by Richard. P. Baker. As with all rume sofas it is handmade to order by our skilled staff in our Sussex workshops, drawing on classic English furniture making traditions and techniques and combining long established practices with proven modern materials. This individual approach means you can specify dimension, fabric, cushion type and layout, even upholstery finishing. As shown it has a solid beech and plywood frame with cross webbed platform, quilted duck feather-over-reflex foam seat cushions with pipe detail, duck feather and fibre back cushions also with pipe detail. A complementary stool is also available. It can also be made as a corner sofa and in components if access is difficult. Your choice of fabric or leather.
