The Oriel is a beautiful long legged chair with a buttoned down elegance designed for rume by Richard. P. Baker. As with all rume chairs it is handmade to order by our skilled staff in our Sussex workshops, drawing on classic English furniture making traditions and techniques and combining long established practices with proven modern materials. This individual approach means you can specify fabric, cushion type, even leg timber and stain. As shown as a chair and a half the Oriel has a solid beech frame with a sprung platform and back, a quilted duck feather-over-reflex foam single seat cushion, duck feather back cushion with button detail and black stain over ash legs. As with all of our chairs a complementary stool is also available. Your choice of fabric or leather.
