The Smithfield is an elegantly enhanced Chesterfield sofa designed for rume by Richard Paul Baker. As with all rume sofas it is handmade to order by our skilled staff in our Sussex workshops, drawing on classic English furniture making traditions and techniques and combining long established practices with proven modern materials. This individual approach means you can specify dimension, fabric, seat type and layout, even leg timber and stain. As shown the Smithfield has a full beech frame with welcoming, curvaceous arms, luxurious deep buttoning, nickel nails and hand turned black stained ash legs. An optional quilted duck feather-over-reflex foam cushion seat is also available as is a perfect accompanying Smithfield Stool. Your choice of fabric or leather.
