Jet Baker is the resident designer at Rume. Born into a family of Sussex furniture makers his influences are resolutely English. Aware that this could be interpreted as worthy but dull Jet Baker is determined to redefine the cliche and present it as virtue, a celebration in fact of one of the great unsung nations of furniture design. Bold but with nuance, poised but with movement, substantial but with a light touch.
