Andreas Engesvik formerly part of Norway Says, is among Norway’s leading designers. Engesvik has a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Bergen Norway and went on to study Design at the National College of Art and Design. He graduated in 2000 with a Masters degree and in the same year founded Norway Says. In 2009 after 6 successful years as a company Engesvik went solo and founded his new studio ‘Andreas Engesvik, Oslo’. Engesvik has been awarded designer of the year in Norway and has received International awards and recognition for his work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. His studio is currently working in various fields of design for international clients such as Iittala, Muuto, FontanaArte and Ligne Roset. His awards include: Red Dot Award 2012 & 2014, Elle Decoration Award – Furniture of the year 2013, Designer of the Year 2012 & 2013, ICFF Editors Award, best textile, New York 2013, Designer of the Year 2012, Elle Decoration Award, Oslo 2012 and many others.
