regency town house

Price From: £90.00

Chisel and Mouse produce beautifully detailed architectural models of famous and influential buildings. Each model is handmade in their Sussex studio from a strong plaster and has a reassuring weight and cool feel. Added details such as window frames, clocks and doors are made from etched brass and hand fitted to the finished plaster casting. This fantastic model of 13 Brunswick Square, Hove is a fine example of Brighton’s Regency period. The house is grade 1 listed and is being carefully restored by a charitable trust and now acts as a living museum. Charles Busby was the architect and built not only the houses but also the square and surrounding new town which included various pubs and markets to suit the different social groups who would live and work in the area. Brunswick Square was built to the highest standard, using the finest materials which has helped it to remain one of the most desirable parts of Brighton and Hove to this day.
